Simulation of ELM control by applied 3D magnetic field perturbations in ITER
The figure shows the perturbation of the density profile due to the application of 3D field perturbations created by the ITER ELM control coils (blue). The green coils are the vertical stabilization coils. Also included is one sector of the ITER vacuum vessel with the first wall and divertor (CAD data).
